We reach Barmbek, Dulsberg and Uhlenhorst usually within a good half-hour, and Eppendorf, Winterhude and Hoheluft-Ost via the Ring 2 typically in 60 to 90 minutes. To Langenhorn, Fuhlsbüttel and Ohlsdorf we drive via the Alsterkrugchaussee and the Langenhorner Chaussee, in the evenings and at weekends usually substantially faster.
Around the Außenalster, in Uhlenhorst and Winterhude parking is tight and the kerbside is dominated by resident permits, whereas Alsterdorf, Groß Borstel and Langenhorn are relaxed. We factor it in. For the old-build apartments in Eppendorf and Winterhude we ask for the bell number or an entrance code, and for approaches around the UKE grounds we agree the arrival route in advance.
