Dr Reiche and the whole set-up here is excellent. They provide a punctual, professional and people-friendly service. They also have a first class support staff in place. Very rare to find such great healthcare in Berlin - I cannot recommend them highly enough.
Excellent experience with this clinic. The service they provide is very professional and efficient. They arranged for a doctor to come directly to my home, which was incredibly helpful.
Dr. Vadim Chani was the physician who came, and he handled everything quickly, calmly, and with great competence. The whole process was smooth, and I felt very well taken care of. I’m very grateful for the help and would highly recommend this clinic and their team.
Please take note of this review. I’m from Miami and received excellent care and attention from Dr. Reiche, together with her husband Tobias, who is the business manager is a true professional. My issue was on a Sunday afternoon and I couldn’t believe how responsive they were. Not only did I get through immediately by phone with Tobias, but they were driving in a car from Hamburg and agreed to meet me in their office within an hour. My problem was solved with great care and attention. I highly recommend their services. I reached out to other services that did not answer the phone or required a detailed text on what’s app. Avoid these - they were a great disappointment. Go with this team of professionals who take great pride in being responsive and in their care of a patient in urgent need. You will not be disappointed!
Great experience--my doctor was Anton Uporov, who was calm, professional, helpful and communicative. I had a house call arranged, on a Sunday, within 2 hours. Highly recommended.

I have statutory health insurance (GKV): what does the home visit cost me, and does my insurer pay?
If you have statutory health insurance, your insurer does not cover a private home visit. You use our service as a self-payer (approx. €150–300) and can claim the cost against tax (§ 33 EStG). In detail: patients with German private health insurance (private Krankenversicherung, PKV) are typically reimbursed in full: your insurer reimburses our invoice directly, or you submit it yourself for reimbursement. Patients with statutory German health insurance (gesetzliche Krankenversicherung, GKV) can use our service as self-payers; the GKV does not cover private house calls, but we issue a clear invoice in line with the German fee schedule for private medical services (GOÄ). There is no fixed price; we give you the likely price range by phone in advance. The cost can also be claimed against German income tax as extraordinary expenses (§ 33 EStG). International patients, tourists, and expatriates with travel insurance or international health insurance are also welcome. Most travel insurance policies cover emergency private medical consultations, and our GOÄ invoice is accepted by international insurers. If you are unsure whether your policy covers the visit, we recommend calling your insurer in advance. We are transparent about fees and happy to discuss costs before we dispatch a doctor.
What does the on-call private doctor service in Berlin cover?
Our on-call doctors handle a wide range of acute conditions that cannot wait until the next regular appointment, including high fever, respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal illness, wound assessment and dressing, skin reactions, ear and throat pain, back pain, and acute deterioration of chronic conditions. Every house call includes a full clinical examination, diagnosis, and a tailored treatment plan. We issue sick notes (Arbeitsunfähigkeitsbescheinigung) and prescriptions on the same visit. Where further investigation is needed, we coordinate specialist referrals or, in urgent cases, advise on or arrange hospital transfer. Please note: we are not an emergency ambulance service. If you are experiencing chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe breathing difficulty, or major trauma, call 112 immediately. For everything that falls between a minor concern and a life-threatening emergency, our service fills the gap and brings qualified medical care directly to your door.
How do I get a doctor to come to my home or hotel in Berlin?
Booking a house call is straightforward. Call us directly or use the online booking form on this page. Both channels are monitored daily from 06:00 to 24:00. Once you reach us, briefly describe your symptoms and your location; we will confirm availability and give you an estimated arrival time. Most patients in Berlin receive a physician within 60 to 90 minutes of confirmed booking, though timing can vary depending on demand and your district. Have your address, a contact number, and, if applicable, your insurance card or insurer details ready when you get in touch. If you are booking on behalf of someone else or a child, let us know so we can match the most suitable doctor. You will receive a confirmation and can reach us again at any time if your condition changes before the doctor arrives.
Are your doctors English-speaking?
Yes. English fluency is a standard requirement for all physicians on our team, not an optional extra. We serve a large international community in Berlin (including expatriates, diplomats, students, and tourists), and accurate medical communication in your language is essential to safe care. Many of our doctors speak additional languages beyond German and English; you can find individual language profiles on the team page. When you book, simply tell us which language you prefer for the consultation and we will match you with a suitable physician whenever possible. For English there is no additional wait or lead time. All written documents (prescriptions, sick notes, referral letters, and invoices) are issued in German, which is the standard medical and legal language in Germany; however, your doctor will walk you through every document in your preferred language during the visit so nothing is left unclear.
Do you treat children?
Yes. Our private on-call service covers paediatric house visits for children of all ages, from school-age children through to adolescents. For infants and toddlers under two years of age, we strongly recommend a brief call before booking so we can dispatch a doctor with specific paediatric or neonatal experience. Common conditions we treat in children include fever, ear infections, tonsillitis, gastrointestinal illness, respiratory infections, and rashes. Our doctors are trained to examine and treat children in a calm, familiar home environment, which is often far less distressing for the child than a hospital waiting room. Many of the physicians on our team are parents themselves. We can issue paediatric sick notes for school or daycare (Kinderkrankmeldung) and prescriptions on the same visit where clinically appropriate. For suspected fractures, severe breathing difficulties, seizures, or other life-threatening situations, please call the emergency number 112 without delay.
