Whether your costs are covered depends on your insurance. Privately insured patients (PKV) typically receive full reimbursement. We bill exclusively according to the GOÄ (German Medical Fee Schedule), which your insurer will recognise. Patients with Beihilfe cover combine it with their supplementary PKV and are generally fully covered. Self-pay patients, including those with statutory insurance (GKV), pay out of pocket; costs may be deductible as extraordinary expenses under § 33 EStG. Travellers and expatriates with international health or travel insurance are very welcome; we can provide an English receipt on request. We let you know the approximate cost range by phone before the doctor sets out, no hidden fees.

Our on-call service covers acute medical needs that cannot wait until your GP's next appointment. This includes physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses (infections, gastroenteritis, respiratory complaints), sick notes and prescriptions, laboratory sample collection, and direct hospital referrals via our close contacts with Berlin clinics. We are reachable by phone daily from 6 am to midnight; between midnight and 6 am we accept bookings via the online form only and call you back at 6 am sharp. Follow-up care is available at our affiliated Privatpraxis Reiche (rab.berlin).

Do you also do home visits for sick children?
Yes, our on-call service includes home visits for sick children. Ill children at home can be very stressful for parents; our experienced physicians are trained to address children's specific needs. Many of our doctors are parents themselves and bring a particular sensitivity to paediatric consultations. Please note that not all our physicians treat infants and toddlers. Depending on which doctor is on duty, treatment may only be offered above a certain age. We therefore recommend calling us in advance so we can arrange the best possible care for your child together. Our goal is to help your child quickly and competently so they recover as soon as possible.

Excellent experience with this clinic. The service they provide is very professional and efficient. They arranged for a doctor to come directly to my home, which was incredibly helpful. Dr. Vadim Chani was the physician who came, and he handled everything quickly, calmly, and with great competence. The whole process was smooth, and I felt very well taken care of. Please take note of this review. I’m from Miami and received excellent care and attention from Dr. Reiche, together with her husband Tobias, who is the business manager is a true professional. My issue was on a Sunday afternoon and I couldn’t believe how responsive they were. Not only did I get through immediately by phone with Tobias, but they were driving in a car from Hamburg and agreed to meet me in their office within an hour. My problem was solved with great care and attention. I highly recommend their services. I reached out to other services that did not answer the phone or required a detailed text on what’s app. Avoid these - they were a great disappointment. Go with this team of professionals who take great pride in being responsive and in their care of a patient in urgent need. You will not be disappointed!
