Individual medicine for older adults
Older patients often live with several diagnoses at once, known as multimorbidity. Susanne Reiche served as senior consultant in geriatrics at St. Hedwig Kliniken Berlin until 2023 and aligns treatment with quality of life, not with individual findings alone.
A fixed element is the medication review: all preparations are checked and adjusted regularly to avoid dangerous interactions from polypharmacy (5 or more medications at the same time).
