Preserving quality of life
The focus is on relieving pain and distressing symptoms such as breathlessness or nausea. Susanne Reiche is a consultant with palliative-care qualification and supports patients at the practice at Roscherstraße 3 and at home.
Beyond physical symptoms, treatment takes psychological, social and spiritual concerns seriously. The end of life is understood as part of life, one that can be shaped with dignity and self-determination.
Support for family members
Palliative care includes the family: relatives receive advice on care, aids and respite services in Berlin, plus support through emotionally demanding phases.
Where needed, the practice coordinates cooperation with care services, hospice services and specialised outpatient palliative care (SAPV).
Care at home
Home visits make pain therapy, infusions and examinations possible in familiar surroundings, without exhausting journeys. Almost all services of the practice are also available in your own home in Berlin.
